- Handle various departmental meetings.
- Handle procurement and inventory management of departmental property and supplies.
- Handle faculty promotion affairs of the department.
- Handle faculty evaluation affairs of the department.
- Handle renewal appointments for full-time and part-time faculty.
- Handle new appointments for full-time and part-time faculty.
- Handle departmental self-evaluation procedures.
- Compile monthly work reports and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences bulletin.
- Handle departmental information security and personal data protection affairs.
- Handle pre-purchase applications for industry co-teaching instructors’ hourly fees and transportation expenses, UCAN fund reimbursements, and reimbursements for various project funds.
- Handle the work-study management platform and the principal investigator system (part-time teaching assistants, temporary workers, scholarship students, and living allowance recipients) and prepare payroll rosters.
- Maintain equipment in six departmental professional classrooms.
- Handle other temporary assignments.
